Welcome to the oldest, largest Concord grape growing region in the world!
One of the nation’s most impressively beautiful landscapes is home to 30,000 acres of vineyards. Concord grapes from which the area bears its name is the luscious purple fruit that provides both the essence of healthy living (see grape health benefits) and the lifeblood of the region’s economy.

Webster’s defines a “belt” as an area or zone distinguished from others in some way”. The Concord Grape Belt is distinguished by a narrow strip of land approximately 60 miles long by 2 – 6 miles wide bordered by Lake Erie to the North and the Allegany Plateau Escarpment to the South and it provides the ideal climate for growing many varieties of grapes.
